Coming Soon to a Tabletop Near You

Knights Who Say Geek Logo - A Blog and Podcast about table top gaming

The Knights Who Say Geek is a brand new podcast and blog about all things geeky (I know, how original). Well, that’s not entirely true, we are just two people, a Father and Son, and can’t cover all things geeky so what will our focus be on? Well I am glad you asked, we will be focused on tabletop miniature games like Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. That will be the constant running theme throughout every episode but it won’t be the only theme.

We like a lot of geeky things so while you can always count on some kind of Warhammer content when we release an episode, you can also expect conversations about board games, movies, TV shows, books, comic books and anything else we feel like. Why so broad? Well, it’s our show and we can do what we want.

It’s the third paragraph and I haven’t even said who we are yet. Writing and story telling is not my greatest skill but hopefully this blog will help with that. My name is Brian Welch, I am a Father, Husband and life long geek. I have two boys and both of them like these things but my oldest son LOVES these kind of things.

Harrison just turned 18 and will be doing this podcast with me. My younger son will be turning 16 soon and while he likes a lot of geeky things, Warhammer is not one of them. He will join us from time to time but his real passion is Soccer and has decided that yapping about tabeltop games will interfere with his training. I hope to bring my wife on the show on occasion but the jury is out on that one. Stephanie likes some of the things we like (loves Star Wars, some board games, etc… ) but she will always clarify tht she married a geek, she isn’t a geek herself.

So, that is who we are and what this show will be about. The site is brand new so I am the only one reading these posts. By the time anyone knows this site exists our introduction will be buried in the deep recesses of Google’s black pit of unimportant content BUT it felt like it was worth taking the time to write anyway. Any why is that? Because as I said from the beginning, it’s our blog and podcast and I can do what I want!
